Ceiling Drywall Repair

Summary: On this project, we repaired a hole in a customer's ceiling caused by water damage. After a few coats of drywall mud, sanding, and painting it looks as good as new!
Historic Portico Restoration
Location: Holland Patent, NY 13354
Summary: On this project, we rebuilt and restored an original portico from circa 1890 to match the original when the house was built. The first step in this process, after removing the old portico, was recreating the corbels (the architectural detail between the house and the roof) These had to be custom fabricated to match the originals. Once these were made, we began framing the structure of the new roof, adding additional support to existing beams which were mortised into the beam of the house. Then after sheathing the exterior and adding the shingles, we installed the center edge bead board ceiling, as well as the crown molding. We then took great care to install the new corbels and finished off the porch with a historic looking light fixture and a decorative onlay.

Bathroom Floor Repair
Location: Waterville, NY 13480
Summary: On this project we replaced some water damaged subfloor caused by the shower, and installed new luxury vinyl tile throughout the whole bathroom. We also installed a new shower door to prevent this from occurring in the future.
